And I think he has got a very good opportunity to capitalise on it not just this week but the season,” 65-year-old Amritraj told Mail Today on Monday.”With an improved ranking, he will get direct entries into Grand Slams and repeating such results there will shoot up his ranking further. I think he is in a very good position to get into top 50s.”Amritraj, who now heads the Tamil Nadu Tennis Association, praised the local boy of Chennai and was reluctant of suggesting how Prajnesh should pick up his game from here on.”My thought about his game truly immaterial of what he and his coach discuss on what they need to improve on. He is a big boy with a good serve, he got a big left-handed forehand. I would like to see him come forward a bit more but it’s up to what he and his coach decides,” said Amritraj.Speaking of his allegiance with Road to Wimbledon, which has seen rising Indian star in Mahak Jain among its ranks, Amritraj was happy with the way the initiative grew since they started.advertisement”Road to Wimbledon is a unique programme which gives belief to a rising talent that he or she is capable of playing in an international-level tournament at a very early age. The outcomes have been good as some of the players have fared really well later in their career,” said Amritraj. For sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports.
