On Thursday, Al Hoceima’s neighborhood Sidi Abid, saw escalating clashes. Since then, 700 sit-ins have been held in the region of Al Hoceima. The growing tension sparked following the police’s pursuit and arrest of leading activist Nasser Zafzafi.
